This book was even better than the first. Though the drama and situations in this book are unrealistic they make you feel that your not the only one who has a tuff time at this age. It's amazingly funny and you are always on the edge of your seat. I would recommend it to anyone in middle school or even early high school.Product details

I can understand Lucy B. Parker. All these problems about crushes, it's confusing. I have problems just like Lucy B. Parker but not crush problems. Just problems about life. My cousin, Erika said," Life is like a box of chocolate." Life is hard.
Lucy B. Parker is back, and this time worrying about whether she has her crushes (local, long distance and celebrity) in order as she accompanies soon-to-be-stepsister and superstar Laurel Moses to Hollywood. She's still fretting about when she'll get her period and stressed about her mom ignoring her, and her adorable notes to Dr. Maude punctuate the second in this series by the always excellent Robin Palmer.
Lucy's voice is charmingly neurotic, as she navigates new friends, including an over-the-top older actress who befriends her, and tries to figure out just what it is that makes a crush a crush (does anyone really know?). This is another winner in a series that deals with real-life issues such as divorce and stepfamilies, along with friendships and paparazzi. Readers will cheer Lucy on, even when she's at her most rambling moments, because Palmer makes Lucy's quirks and observations work perfectly, with a tween voice that captures the nerves and drama of wanting to grow up...but not completely.
My granddaughter has been waiting for this second book in the series and is delighted to receive it for her Christmas gift.
I love this book!!!I love Lucy's attitude and Laurel kind of helps lucy out with her being in Hollywood on set
